Do sidewalk pro-lifers really acheive anything?

I get this question all of the time. The answer is YES.

I can give you loads of turn-around stories that I personally have seen. Does that mean that if you go to the local abortion mill this Saturday, you will see a young lady make the choice of life? Of course not, somedays you'll see a handful of girls choose life, somedays, you won't.

One recent story of sidewalkers being successful happened on a Tues. night here in Huntsville. Litterally, 3 people shut down the abortion mill for the days. We recently discovered that they've started killing babies on Tues. as well as Sat. On this particular Feb. Tues., 3 Lifers showed up outside on the sidewalk aroun 4:30pm. About 5 or so victims entered over the course of time. About 7:00pm, it was obvious that the abortionist wasn't there, since none of the victims had started to come out. About 7:30 someone from inside came out and said something like, "You know he's (the abortionist) not going to show up with anyone out here." So, no one left. A little after 9:00, the victims gave up on the abortionist to show up and left.

If this is such a liberating and positive thing for women, then why wouldn't the abortionist want anyone to see him? Why would he hide? Shouldn't he be proud of the fact that he kills babies and leaves women physically and emotionally wounded? No. He must shroud his face and hide in the darkness. Dr. Jekyl can't let anyone see the murderous Mr. Hyde and be labeled an abortionist.

This abortion mill was shut down for the day, not by blocking entrances, not by convincing victims not to go in, not by yelling or threatening, but only because the abortionist was ashamed of what he does and did not want to be seen.

So, yes, even just a presence on the sidewalk makes a difference and saves lives.
